Hiring Our Heroes
The unemployment rate for returning veterans transitioning out of military life is a staggering 11%, almost 30% higher than the rest of the country. NBC News and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce hope to change this with their initiative Hiring Our Heroes. They recently transformed the USS INTREPID into a floating job fair for veterans.

Stolen Valor Act Still a Hot Topic
“As the Supreme Court decides whether to uphold the Stolen Valor Act, the public should note the damage that fraudulent veterans have already done.” Do you remember Rick Duncan who made the political and media rounds as a decorated Academy grad with three tours in Iraq under his belt lied about all of it?
