Ninth Army-Navy Win!
We did it again – Navy's 111th meeting with the Black Knights ended in victory (31-17), school records were broken along the way (Middleton's 98-yard touchdown run) and members of the Class of 2011 have never known defeat against Army. CBS aired a fantastic opening teaser. Click here for 5 great Army-Navy Game quotes. A slideshow and the postgame interviews are available too.

4,660 Little Slices of Victory
Army-Navy Spirit Week is no small affair … unless you're a tiny Smith Island Cake. Maryland's official State Dessert was miniaturized and fed to midshipmen on 6 December in honor of the upcoming game, a huge order made by a small bakery on the southeastern side of the Chesapeake Bay.

On the Rhodes Again
Midshipman Caroline P. Barlow '11 of Jacksonville, FL, has been selected as a Rhodes Scholar for 2011. More than 1,500 students seek their institution's endorsement annually in the U.S.; this year, 309 colleges and universities endorsed 837 students. Only 32 were selected and Barlow is the only service academy recipient.

Ensign Mitchell Harris '08, USN, was a Navy pitcher who is now torn between his commitment to serve and his passion for his sport. He requested a transfer to the reserves last year, and that paperwork just hit the desk of the CNO. Will he make it to the big leagues?

North Korea vs. San Diego
Has the shift in the number of Navy ships that homeport in San Diego had something to do with the current tensions between North and South Korea? Could be—the build-up happened quickly. Close to 60 ships and subs dock there now with more than 80 expected by 2014.
